We are conducting a cyanobacterial and algal strain collection.
Most of the strains have been isolated from natural environments as ricefields, streams, polar waterbodies, etc. The strains isolated, mostly unialgal, but not bacteria-free, are stored in glycerol or DMSO at -80ºC. Some of those strains have been used for eco-physiological studies. For further information see URL.
